20 Bentec Top Drives sold

Dec. 2011 - Bentec has sold twenty 500-ton Bentec Top Drives since launching the product in spring 2010 and there is a long list of potential orders from a variety of clients, demonstrating strong customer endorsement.
 
The TD-500-HT comes with a number of innovative features to significantly improve drilling results. With up to  25% greater performance than comparable units and a new control system, the Bentec Top Drive reduces downtime and maintenance costs significantly. Newly developed link tilt mechanisms set new standards in the area of
safety. This massive break-through in the top drive market has boosted Bentec’s decision to offer an equivalent 350-ton model, also followed by a 275-ton and a 750-ton model in 2012.

Strong Customer Endorsement of Bentec Rigs

Dec. 2011 - Bentec has sold 13 rigs in one year. One is the new stationary Arctic Rig for deep well drilling in the Republic of Belarus. The stationary Arctic Rig has a load capacity of 450 t (2,000 hp) and is designed for climate conditions down to a temperature of -40°C.

The rig will include numerous Bentec equipment and accessories like mud pumps, drawworks, a traveling system, steel constructions, a mud system, the Power Control Room and the new, more reliable and service-friendly Bentec Top Drive.
